Blizzard in the Dales
Last night I heard the BBC weather warning about lots of snow. However, it was only for Scotland, so I went on the jolly BBC website and typed in my location. Apparently sleet showers and then lots of sunshine this afternoon. Well, I woke up this morning to complete whiteout. There was a tree bough on the drive which had fallen under the weight of the snow. A second one fell down while I watched. It’s about 15cm deep up here in the Dales. I don’t think anyone will be going anywhere in a vehicle unless it’s a tractor. Day off. Take the dogs out and walk into the village so that everyone can coo together about how thick the snow is!
