Well, it depends on many factors:
1) How hot is your pan (and your oil)?
2) How big is your egg?
3) How do you like your eggs cooking?
If you can answer those three questions – leave a comment below – we can then tell you to some degree of certainty how long it will take you to fry your egg.
Alternatively, you could just heat up a little oil in a pan over a medium-hot heat, break your egg into the pan, then cook it until it looks about how you usually enjoy your eggs, then fish it out with a fish slice or slotted spoon, and eat as soon as possible after removing from the pan.
Et voila. A fried egg. Cooked just how you like it.
