I Can’t Believe it’s Not 2007!

Happy New Year!

The new year began without much of a hitch.

As always, the passing from one year to the next has prompted everyone and his dog to do a yearly review. After the ‘Christmas-Must-Have-Gifts-List,’ this is fertile turf for the lazy journo or blogger, therefore, I’ll leave them to it.

Although the title suggests that I can’t believe its 2008, I really can, as, I’m sure, can you. The fail-safe method of proof is this simple three step process:

  1. Remember back to the mid-1990s, and concentrate on how cool you thought you were;
  2. Look at a photograph or video of the period, and realise what a disaster we all looked.
  3. Note how young everyone looked back then.

There you go, ten years HAVE passed!
