I fancy Treacle, each way, but the prices in the 2012 Grand National are nothing to get too excited about.

What horse do you think will win the National this weekend?

I usually manage to back a non-runner and get my money back (with the non-runner no bet bookmakers), so here’s hoping Treacle at least makes it to course!

But its all a bit of fun, until someone loses and eye. Or a tenner. I suppose.

In any case, I have one tip for this years 2012, and its on opening day. to win the Champion Hurdle. You should be able to get a good price for each-way, so take it, and expect a return from a place!

Other than that, it is the usual Festival bag of maybe and might be’s that make Cheltenham so exciting to the armchair fan and Irishman alike.
