Now that Christmas is over, I will get around to writing a review of the various flights we have taken to and from Australia, who offered the best value, and the best experience.

The cheapest deal we discovered was for a flight from Melbourne to Newcastle (UK) via London Heathrow with Quantas, which we sourced through LastMinute - a bargain at approximately £400, including the connecting flight to NCL.
