Watch this great video of day 8 at the Beijing Olympics 2008, and enjoy Usain Bolts devastating 100m sprint final performance, as he annihilates the field to win in a fastest ever 9.69 seconds.
This man is the real deal (watch a video of his 200m world record performance here!).

Despite all copies of this race having been removed from YouTube, as always, the BBC have a full version of this 100m final available in online video- just click here to access it.

This year’s Olympic games have been extremely good in terms of outstanding performers and world record beaters. We’ve seen a whole stack of records smashed in the pool, and now long standing sprint records like the 200m time set by Michael Johnson are falling too.

Britain has also managed to win quite a few gold medals.

Something must be up!
